High Adventure

Saturday, March 21st there will be a high adventure warm-up hike (packs optional) at Stoney Creek Metropark. We will be hiking the hilly area by the Nature center located on the north side of the park. You can reach it by going through the South gate and driving there or by parking at the Inwood parking area on Inwood raod and crossing over to the south side of the road. The South entrance will cost $4 for a daily pass. I would recommend getting an annual pass ($20) as we will probably have the troop picnic there and more warm-up hikes for Philmont (walk & swim).

Newer scouts are welcome to bring a compass (& water) and we can do the 5 mile hike and compass reading requirement. This requirement will be available at Sleeping Bear Dunes campout also.
