  • Technology Lock-in - Friday Januray 15th

    Place Friday, January 15th @ 6 PM on your calendar for the troops technology lock-in.

    Watch for the permission slip soon for a $5 fee (covers Pizza and pop). Plan on bringing all those electronic Christmas games, musical instruments and DVDs. We will play all night and be done at 7 AM.

  • December 15th Meeting - Gift Exchange- Community House

    Bring a $1-5 wrapped gift to the Tuesday meeting for a gift exchange. 

    The meeting topic will include cooking deserts on campouts, what to ask Santa for Christmas (back pack for the Appalachian Trail) and setting goals for next year (rank advancement).

    This will be the last meeting to get advancements signed over prior to the new updated requirements.

     

     

  • Last Call for January Ski Trip

    There are only seven spots left for the annual ski trip. I was already supposed to make the final payment to The Timbers. Please let me know via phone, text, or email BY SUNDAY NIGHT if you want to go. Scouts can go even if one of their parents can't. You can turn in the money at next Tuesday's meeting at the Community House, or mail it to me. There is a link for permission slips and rental forms on the home page of the web site.

  • LAST BOARD OF REVIEW before the new requirements Jan. 1st

    There will be a Board of Review Thursday, 12/17 at the Rochester Hills Public Library, 7 -9 pm. This will be the last Review before the requirement changes begin Jan. 1st.  (A list of req. changes can be found on the troop website)  If you are ready for a review and have completed a scoutmaster conference, contact the troop scribe, Adam Rolain. There is a troop meeting Tues. 12/15 if you are in need of a scoutmaster conference.

  • Carolling & Laser Tag- Tuesday 12-8 6:15PM

    The troop will begin the activity at 6:15 PM in the library parking lot (E.Univesity & Old Towne) across from Sun Rise Assisted Living. The troop will carol until 7, then have pizza and travel to Zap Zone in Waterford (3653 Highland Lake Road). We will play 2 games and then be back to the Library parking lot by 9:30.

    There is a required permission slip on the web site. Please be in class A and have $11 or signed scout account form. 

    One game will be leaders against scouts (poor scouts).

  • Jamboree Opening

    An opening just came up in my Jamboree troop. If anyway is still thinking about going, this may be your last opportunity to at least get assigned to a Jamboree troop with other 'home troop' members that you know. If interested and want more info, contact Mr. Scarlatelli. But time is important here.

  • Order of the Arrow Annual Dinner

    Join Mr. V. and Mr. Wilson at the 82nd Annual OA dinner. All OA members are welcome to attend, and they may bring a spouse or girlfriend. It's this Saturday, Dec. 5th at 6:30 at St Basil Byzantine Hall in Sterling Heights. Cost is $15. Reservations can be made on-line using the Doubleknot System.   • Scout Meeting 7:30 PM Community House

    Tonight's meeting will cover survival skills (bring your 6' rope) and practice for Caroling next week prior to Laser Tag. The Survival game covers a number of Tenderfoot, 2nd & 1st Class requirements so bring your book to get signed off.

    Permission slips will be handed out for laser tag and collected for Ski trip.

    Flag patrol should be there 10 minutes early.
