Hope everyone is ready for a great time at Tahquamenon Falls, Pictured Rocks and Hiawatha. Suggested pack list is attached - add/delete as you will. Weather is expected to range from low 50's at night to high 70's daytime. Showers are expected Sunday to Tuesday so don't forget rain gear. July thunder storms come in quickly from the lake so be prepared with a couple of small $1 pocket ponchos. Ticks (dog ticks) are bad this year so an insect repellent with Picaridin is recommended like Natrapel or Sawyer available at REI or Bass Pro. DEET is not as effective against ticks. NO FOOD IN YOUR PACK. Lots of bears, raccoons, skunks, opossum, squirrel and chipmunks and they will be in your tent, in your pack and in your food. So NO FOOD IN YOUR PACK. See ya'll 7:00AM on Saturday Morning.
