If you've got game- or games for that matter- bring it on!

As a scout, there are few instances in your career when your electronics are a welcomed sight during a camp-out. However, this is your night to bring them as this is the annual pilgrimage to all things electronic. Even your musical instruments are welcome as you will have the opportunity to jam with the other boys who will bring their instruments also.

Heck, maybe someone brings a karaoke machine and the adults get to show off our musical talents- or lack thereof. We promise not to make it too painful on your young ears.

February 2008 Urban Krag Campout

Join Troop 125 for our first trip to Urban Krag in Dayton. We will spend the first night in a large heated barn at Sycamore State Park near Dayton and then travel to the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force the next day. The IMAX movie “Fighter Pilot” is part of the agenda. Check out museum at www.nationalmuseum.af.mil. Some older scouts and adults will take belayer training (about an hour) during the day. After dinner at Marion’s Pizza, we will head to our overnight lock-in at the Krag.

The Urban Krag is Ohio's premier indoor rock climbing facility. Featuring 8000 square feet of textured and sculpted vertical terrain with heights ranging from 28 to 56 feet. It’s all housed in a beautifully restored, mid-19th century church with stained glass and all! All walls are built to meet or exceed Climbing Wall Industry Group standards. There is a limit of 25 climbers on this trip. Spots will be awarded based on a combination of postmark on envelope, age of scout, past attendance, and parent participation so send in NOW!
