We will be travelling to Pinckney, Michigan, for our Fall high adventure hike this year, on Saturday Nov 1st and returning Sunday Nov 2nd.   This allows for scouts to also participate in 'Scouting for Food' on Saturday morning Nov 1st.

The hike will be around the Pinckney Recreation Area and will be an excellent opportunity for younger, first-time high adventure scouts to learn valuable outdoor skills and gain experience in preparation for larger, multi-day hiking/backpacking expeditions.  Experienced and older scouts will also find this to be an outstanding opportunity to share knowledge, experience and skills in outdoor adventure in a teaching & coaching capacity.  This is your opportunity to not only get outdoors and stretch your legs but also do your duty to help prepare younger scouts.

Expect the weather to be cool during the day and cold at night, so be prepared with warm, layered (non-cotton) clothing, wool beanie hat, warm gloves, rain gear and good quality 20 deg (minimum) sleeping bag.   A recommended gear list will be provided.

Any questions feel free to write me or call.
