SPL is elected by the Scouts to be the top junior leader in the troop. He reports to the Scoutmaster. His job is to: Run all troop meetings, events, activities, and annual program planning conference
- Appoint other troop junior leaders with advice of Scoutmaster
- Assign duties and responsibilities to junior leaders
- Set a good example, Wear Scout uniform, Live by Scout Oath and Law & show Scout Spirit
