PL is elected by Scouts in his patrol. He reports to SPL unless you are a new Scout patrol. Then he works with New Troop Guide. His job is to:

Plan and steers patrol meetings
Help Scouts advance
Keep patrol members informed
Know what his patrol members and other leaders can do
Set a good example, Wear Scout uniform, Live by Scout Oath and Law & show Scout Spirit

Help patrol leader plan and steer patrol meetings and activities
Help PL keep patrol members informed & Help patrol get ready for all troop activities
Lend a hand controlling the patrol and building patrol spirit
Set a good example, Wear Scout uniform, Live by Scout Oath and Law & show Scout Spirit

Assistant Senior Patrol Leader Profile

ASPL is elected by the Scouts to be the second highest junior leader in the troop. He reports to SPL & Scoutmaster. He acts as the SPL when SPL isn't there. His job is to: Help SPL lead meetings & activities

Run the troop when SPL isn't there
Help train and supervise troop scribe, quartermaster, librarian, historian & chaplain aide
Set a good example, Wear Scout uniform, Live by Scout Oath and Law & show Scout Spirit
